CTi entered into a strategic partnership with Desmet Ballestra in 2010, following the significant joint testing of CTi Nano Neutralization^® and Nano Reactor^®. In September of 2011, the Agreement was amended to become the Technology License, Marketing & Collaboration Agreement. The principal changes included a guarantee of operating improvements that Desmet Ballestra started to provide a site user with, and the requirement for the installation of a certain number of Nano Reactor^® units in order to maintain the exclusive license granted by CTi. The R&D, Marketing and Technology License Agreement of 2012 has further cemented the fruitful collaboration.

Desmet Ballestra possesses an exclusive global right granted by CTi to sell CTi Nano Neutralization^® through its worldwide network of offices. Currently, Desmet Ballestra is marketing the Nano Reactor^® to domestic and foreign large-scale oil refineries as a key component of the neutralization system.
